Our Fruit Cakes…

Our fruit cakes are packed with loads of dried fruit, nuts, butter and eggs, before being slow baked to ensure that they are moist, dark and rich. Finally, they are covered with marzipan and perfectly finished with fondant, and of course, a dose of brandy is optional.

Sponge Cakes…

When it comes to sponge cake flavours, the choices are endless, but too many options make it near impossible to choose, so we have narrowed our menu down to a few which just can’t be beaten…

All of our sponge cakes are made with butter and fresh extra large eggs. The tiers consist of four layers each, and stand approximately 15 – 18cm high. They are crumb coated with Swiss Meringue buttercream, and finished with your choice of a second layer of buttercream or perfectly smooth fondant.

Of course, traditional vanilla, chocolate and carrot cake have to be on the list, but we have put the following delicious combinations together …

  • Devils Chocolate

Decadently rich dark chocolate cake with a splash of coffee, perfectly paired with our fudgy Bar One filling, and covered with silky chocolate Swiss Meringue buttercream.

  • Vanilla & Salted Caramel

Light as a cloud, our classic vanilla sponge cake pairs perfectly with a creamy caramel filling, sprinkled with sea salt flakes, and covered with a vanilla Swiss Meringue buttercream.

  • Carrot

The modern alternative to fruit cake, our deliciously moist carrot cake is packed with pineapple, raisins and pecan nuts, filled with a smooth cream cheese filling, and sealed with vanilla Swiss Meringue buttercream.

  • Red Velvet

Our ravishing dark red velvet sponge has a hint of chocolate, which is perfectly picked up by the subtle mint chocolate filling, and is covered in a cream cheese Swiss Meringue buttercream.

  • Tropical Sunset

A toasted coconut and light rum-infused sponge with a pineapple compote filling, perfectly finished with a rum Swiss Meringue Buttercream gives this favourite a taste of the Caribbean.

  • Zesty Lemon & Lavender

The perfect balance of flavour between the delicate floral notes of lavender and bright citrus, this wonderfully light lemon cake, filled with a zingy lemon and lavender curd is perfect for summer.

  • Biscoff & Coffee

The latest taste sensation! A light coffee sponge, paired with a creamy Biscoff Spread and Lotus crumb filling, and covered with a subtle coffee Biscoff Swiss Meringue.
